Accident at work, out for a while.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. You're so fortunate about the away it turned out. Look at it as just a set back that you WILL overcome. Your mind is incredibly powerful. Definitely wish you a speedy recovery.

Hope you get back to 100% soon! I got blasted with a pressure washer at work point blank in the eye, almost lost it. The thing I kept thinking about was "I'm going to lose my job, can't drive anymore, and what will I do for a job in the future?". I can say I didn't lose the eye, don't even wear glasses, still driving, and I'm working doing what I love now.

Don't lose hope, in time things will start looking up again.

I'm sorry to hear about your injury. Get better faster than sooner!! Watch for the pain meds.... I had some back surgery a while back was laid up for 3 months... your situation is a lot more involved than mine.Only take what you need. People say that the Dr's are over doing it... this we know.... everyone has their limitations..... Know yours..

See you back here soon..

Speaking from one Jersey boy to another we're a pretty resilient bunch of a-holes so you'll be back to work sooner than what's expected :thumb:

Haha. Thanks to all of you for positive motivation. I just hope once I get better that I will be able to go back to the same trade. I don't really want to quit my union. Good benefits. I might start of easily as a ground guy. I'm sure everything will be good. Wondering why this happened, hopefully it not to tell me to find a different trade. Because I so enjoy my work. I know few guys, old timers who have taken a fall and got back into it. I also have a co worker with a cage around his neck. From car accident who works and connects all day. And he broke same bones. So I think hard therapy, some gym to get my muscles back. And lots of respect to the trade and being safe will workout.
