Accident Avoided

I was on the way home last night on a fairly busy highway when a Mustang suddenly lost it (front blow out, I think) a few cars ahead of me and careened into the one next to him, and before I knew it, there were cars going everywhere.

After some emergency braking, hard swerving, zigging and zagging, I cleared the danger zone without a scratch, unlike 5 other vehicles. The Runner never missed a beat. I never even felt like I was out of control. I just can't say enough about the handling of these vehicles, and XREAS rocks! Had to pull over to stop shaking for a minute, but that was the worst of it for me.

same type of thing happened to me some months ago, but involved three cars and 70+mph on a rain slicked NJ Turnpike. scared the sh*t outta me, but the T4R handled great. i was pretty lucky that day for sure...

Surprisingly, the 4Runner doesn't feel like an SUV when it comes to these emergency situations. This truck really doesn't miss a beat! I am glad you were able to avoid an accident and nothing bad happened.
