Accident Question

So, I parked on a street to send an email. There I was, the only car on the block just sitting in Park minding my own business when, Boom! Some guy hits me and sends my car sliding in to the next parking spot. It busted up my bumber and and rear drivers side fender pretty bad and now my headrest is loose from having my head driven into it. The collision destroyed his front end.

What I am worried about is if there could be any problems with the drive train since I was in Park and what else I should make sure the body shop and mechanics check. The 4Runner only has 6000 miles.

In the old days one would look at the car that hit you (Hyundai?) and exclaim "Wow how fast was he going?" but nowadays that's probably a 15-20mph impact.
Glad you are OK, to that point I would go see my doctor if your head impacted the headrest hard enough to knock it loose. Knock the headrest loose I mean. Seriously, neck injuries can seem kind of mild but they are not to be taken lightly.
Beyond that, since its the other guy's insurance covering this, take it back to the dealership you bought it from, or at least a local Toyota dealership and let them give the truck a complete check. Tell them all the parameters of the truck when it was hit. Ask the shop manager to treat it as though you were trading it in and what kind of problems would he find then?

Make the insurance send you to a doctor for an MRI and pay for it. Do not convince yourself there was not injury...you could have a neck or brain injury. Get an attorney. Believe me, I know this because my wife was found to have a broken neck years later, and it required a $100,000 surgery. She started having headaches, followed by visible nerve impingement affecting her hands, and then finally almost unbearable pain...she is tuff as Hobo shit, so she just carried on and said its nothing until I said bs you going to the doctor. The old fracture was visible, the nerve impingement clear and very dangerous,( think heart and Lung,) and she was in for emergency neck surgery in days,( would have been sooner, but she and I had to handle our affairs, just in case, on here insistence,) literally put to the front of a 6 month line. She could have died in her sleep and we would never have known the cause.

Rear end accidents are nothing to be casual about, and symptoms can be masked for years. I say this especially based on your headrest comment...don't settle until you are absolutely sure you are whole.
