Accidentally drained my trans fluid and doubled my oil---how screwed am I?

Title says it all. 2008 V6. I change my own oil all the time but I literally just spaced out and drained the transmission plug instead. Added the usual oil to the engine. It's been a few days but I haven't driven much, maybe 15 or 20 miles at most, and gently. But an engine with double the oil and an empty fluid pan...are my clutches shot?

Am I ****ed? Just dropped it off at the shop and they're going to refill / do an oil change. I felt some minor slipping but honestly it was driving fine, nothing really noticeable. glad I caught it bur feel like an absolute idiot. Have a road trip starting this weekend so praying the trans is okay.

Well. you would be about 4 qts low on trans fluid and you drove it to a shop. My gut feel is you are probably ok, but why wouldn't you add a quart or two of trans fluid back and rechange your own oil, since you do it 'all the time'?

i was planning to but when i realized i was already away from home and didn't want to drive it anymore so i took it to a shop near where the truck was. it was a silly mistake.

I not following here, you say you "change your oil all the time" and then you say "when I realized it...", so are you saying you never checked the oil level after changing it to make sure it's at the proper level?

If so I would recommend you stop changing your own oil or start doing it correctly, which means the last step is checking the oil level.

Anyway, you could be fine, these transmissions are mostly bulletproof at least they are with the proper amount of fluid.
