Acoustic Control Induction System for 2011?

anyone notice this on the engines for 2011? specifically for the tundra, which has engines that are shared with 4R, the GX and LC/LX 570. what the heck is this?

I think this is why the 4R engine idle a little rougher than other v6 that Toyota put in other car like Camery, Venza etc.... This technology helps to increase the horse power on the motor but run a bit rough idle.
