actuator sound...where is it coming from?

Hi everyone I need some help identifying if this is a problem and if so what is it...

I recently purchased a 2001 SR5 about a month ago. I did a Pre-purchase inspection at a toyota dealership and everything came back clean. I purchased at 107k and now have 110k (not sure if this will be milage related)

The noise is an actuator that comes on randomly when im going slow 30mph and below. I am always in 2wd. There isn't any binding when I turn and it happens turning or going straight. Any ideas? Any other info that I can give to help identify this?

A vacuum controlled actuator? Like for the AC system??

First thing that comes to mind would be the brakes. Try starting your truck and while it is still in park pump the brakes about 5 or 6 times. See if the truck makes the same sound. 4Runner brakes are electronically actuated instead of vaccum actuated like most cars.

yeahhh they all do that...when you're on the brakes you get a little humming sound for about 3 or 4 seconds then a click...that's normal, mine and every other one i've driven does that too
