Add a factory entertainment system??

While reading the book on my '06 nav/audio system, there are lots of mentions about the rear seat DVD entertainment system. This was not an option on the car, so I presume this refers to the Sequoia. We want to get a DVD system for the kids, but it would sure be a lot nicer to have a system that actually integrates with the existing nav/audio system.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get & install this system, and if so can you suggest any resources?

Thanks...

4Runners are always available with a dealer installed aftermarket entertainment system, but there is no factory option for it. But I'm encouraged that this owner's install appears to use the built-in nav/audio screen to control it, rather than some kludged aftermarket non-integrated install which is what I'm afraid of.

I am the owner of the vehicle referenced in the above thread. Actually mine is Toyota factory installed. It is not a dealer intalled option. It is completely integrated with the factory NAV in that video can be shown on the NAV screen and the NAV unit controls the DVD player, just as you read in the manual.

When you say it is not available, keep in mind that it may not be available in your region as available options vary by region of the country. I was fortunate in that I ordered mine directly from Toyota through a Toyota associate. As a result of this, I could order any option I wanted, even if it is not available in my region.
