Add connector part number

Hey boys.. 4x4 went out on me. I have a broken connector/wire running from the main loom. This is the connector that exits the main loom right next to the oil pressure sending unit connector. This connector plugs into the section the runs down the driver side from the main harness to the ADD switch on the front of the diff.

1994 3vze auto 4x4.

Hopefully this picture isn't giant. Can't find the part number.

The connector is a side by side with 2 green wires exiting the back, one striped yellow the other white.

And yes I fixed that ghetto splice on the oil sending unit connector from the p/o

Your best, and cheapest, way to fix this is to hit the junk yard and just cut off that connector from another vehicle. It is almost impossible to match up the exact connector online.

Make sure you cut as much wire as you can from the donor vehicle, that way you'll have plenty enough to connect and route the wire so it won't happen again. Either solder and heatshrink the connections or use butt connectors and seal them up good so they don't corrode.

Those plastic molex or Tyco connectors are so hard to find, and when you do, its usually non-existent in online parts stores. I've tried Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics to find a few connectors, and while I found very similar connectors, they were not quite right and didn't fit. They were really a waste of money and hours researching them.

Yeah I was thinking about that or just cutting and splicing the wires, bypassing the connector. I found and ordered the pigtail for the oil sender. Stealer ship charged me 6 bucks, not too bad. But this connector is shown but not identified in the diagram. Damn :yield:
