FYI 06-09 is still in R&D and may take a couple of extra weeks as they are finishing certain modifications to these years for the different grill.

Ok Guys we are starting the group buy for these bumper and it's going to go something like this,,
We need to get 10 people to commit for $100 off or 15 people to commit for $125 off, If you commit you will be required to make a 10% deposit at the time of committing then at the closing of the GB you will be required to pay the remaining balance.I am in communication with AOR but i'm sure if you guys have any addition questions about anything they will chime in.

All bumpers will be shipped bare steel

Shipping will be a flat rate of $125

Lead time: All bumpers are expected to ship within 4-6 weeks of the close of the Group buy, Orders will ship in the same order as they are on the Group buy list.

Payment: You will be required to make a 10% deposit, You can PM me for payment info and as soon as the 10% deposit is received your name will be added to the Group buy list, Then when the Group buy is finished you will be required to pay the remaining balance, Once all payments are received Bumpers start shipping! The 10% deposit it is to ensure that everyone is committed so there's no issues at the end with people dropping out which affects the Group buy for everyone else which affects orders,shipping,lead times etc

Payment note: When you make your deposit and payment please make sure you list that it is for the Group buy along with you T4R username and option you want with your bumper!

Dang, that is the bumper I've been wanting - beautiful. Just curious, does anyone have a ballpark idea of what it costs to powdercoat something like that? If it came ready to bolt on I would pull the trigger right now, but I can see this getting expensive - it cost me $150 to coat a simple mountain bike frame last time I had something done.

If it came ready to bolt on I would pull the trigger right now, but I can see this getting expensive - it cost me $150 to coat a simple mountain bike frame last time I had something done.

I'm just going to be doing a couple of coats of self-etching primer followed by a couple of coats of rustoleum bedliner. Maybe $60. It's what I did on my sliders. The finish matches the powder coating on my Gobi rack perfectly and is really easy to touch up every time I drag it on some rocks.

I got a quote from a local PC shop and they told me around $200 which i think is pretty good, of course every shop is going to be different. But as [MENTION=89046]cacarbuff[/MENTION] said you can hit it with a couple coats of self etching primer and then the paint whatever color of your choice. I did this with my skids, well with a extra added coat of por-15 first as a base and soo far they've held up great! Def makes it easy for simple touch ups if need be!

There shouldn't be any need to sand blast though as it's coming in bare steel ?

This place sand blast and then powder coats everything even if it dosnt need a blast they do it anyways to make powder coat stick better. (so they say) I will be looking for a cheaper powder coater for sure if you found someone to do it for $200.

Also kinda funny that 2 urban runners are getting the same bumper! dont see may urban runners! :banana:

That's a sweet looking bumper. Anyone know if I have already cut my front frame tabs off because I have an ARB if this will still work? I have a 3rd gen and I see the bumper comes with the "bolt on front crossmember" for mounting. Just not sure if it uses the mount plate that I cut off to install my ARB.
