Just gave Scotty a call and he picked up right away. He told me the '14-'18 5th gen bumpers were the only ones he was behind on. It seems like he doesn't cut the plates in-house so he's waiting on that, said he has 10 (5th gen) bumpers worth of plates that he'll be getting in the next few days and it'll be done next week.

Someone finally answered the phone. (never a response to the 3 or 4 emails Ive sent over last 2 months) anyway its been 9 weeks and he says its shipping tomorrow.

I'm having my bumper and roof rack powder coated a silver to contrast my Magnetic grey 4runner. Ill post pics once its done. Wanted something different from the normal black. Hoping it looks good. Sometimes hard to envision what something will look like till you actually try it. LOL might be an ugly mistake...we'll see

Finaly received bumper yesterday and started doing the test fit. Found a couple issues with Addicted offroad's manufacturing.

first is the two side plates of the crossmember where they slide on the outside of the 4runner frame. Found that the plate was too tall and interfered with a factory weld. I had to plasma cut 1/4" off the plate and regrind it smooth. You can see in my pics where i plasma cut it and then ground it smooth again and now it clears the factory weld

Second, 3 out of the 6 nuts welded inside the crossmember had weld slag in the threads or something and I could not even start a bolt into any of them just sitting on the ground. I had to get a tap and clean the threads out.

Third, some of the holes are not drilled perfectly center where they should thus once all the bolts are in you cant adjust the side to side level. I had to wallow out a few holes with the die grinder to create some movement.

After a couple hours fixing those issues Iwas able to get it mounted and test fit. Now take it apart and send to powder coating in silver.

You will see in other threads that a lot of people end up buying a hawse fairlead and find it doesnt fit cuz there is very limited clearance under the round tube to fit one. I bought this FACTER55 hawse fairlead and it fits perfectly and is one of the few on the market that will fit a 1/2" synthetic rope.

Ok, this will excite the 2010-2013 5th gen 4runner crowd. This will be in production in only two weeks!

I would find it hard to believe that any other bumper on the market sits tighter to body, nor have a better approach angle.

Obviously, the install will require proper trimming of the factory bumper to match the bumper line. We will be providing detailed instructions for the install when shipped. And, other than needing a grinder to trim a few brackets, this is a bolt on system!

Pricing will be $999, and we will offer LED turn signals and flush mount LED fog lights as pictured as options.

Bumpers will ship bare metal. We do this to reduce shipping costs so, we can still ship them via Fed Ex ground. Shipping is flat rate at only $125! It also gives the buyer control over the type of finish, texture, and color they want.

We will be working on 2014+ models soon as well.

I ordered some BD XL80s and got them mounted up (after chopping some metal). They are gigantic pods and looked really stupid everywhere else lol.

Mine has come tgether nicely. I have played around with a couple different light setups and settled on these ambers

I installed a rock camera up inside one of the holes in the bumper so it protects the camera then a switch on the dash to turn it on at anytime on the head unit screen

Still need to trim the bumper cover trim pieces and then get the bumper powder coated.

Decided not to run a winch for now, so will have the lightbar filling that space. Will weld some additional tabs on for it.

Looks like the winch can be easily put on without removing the bumper (huge bonus). The grill and one support will need to come off though, but super easy.

Fit is nice.
Install was easy (actually did it myself with no extra hands)
Clearance is amazing. 35" on the corners. Should be able to get a tire up on crazy stuff. Way more than the rest of the truck can deal with.

Requires a little bit of cutting... (shown in the pics)

Will do a full write up on the install once completely done.

Very pleased at this point.

Oh yea, Front end dropped 1/4". Hardly noticeable but have not driven it yet.

This bumper is one of the nicest-looking bumpers that I have come across.

I will likely pull the trigger soon. Had some questions for the folks that have installed.

1. I can't tell if I need to relocate anything specific, washer fluid?
2. Can a lift jack be mounted on the"stinger"?
3. Any mounting concerns with lighting?
4. The website has options for fog light/driving lights, I can't tell if that's for the hole or the light itself
5. Any other feedback/ helpful information

it shouldn't be too hard. there is a demello bumper install on a preface lift 4runner that i would follow on the internet if i were you so you can get a straight cut. Also there is a post face lift install on the AOR bumper, and use that guide to make small adjustments, and what you have to move out of the way.

I dont have an AOR bumper...just what i know in regards to bumper installs.

Love that bumper..it was a finalist between Demello, AOR, and Shrockworks..... I went with demello cuz it checked all the right boxes for me, but i would have been happy with the other two also.
