Yeah, I went through the options after I said that. Comes to $854 with all the options for me, minus the winch. I have a 3" BL, and that restricts me from almost all bumpers. If you could supply a drop bracket for this beast, I would highly consider purchasing it.
Sorry. We don't build our plate bumpers for body lifts. Only our tube bumpers.

I know that I have seen this on at least one AOR plate bumper, but has anyone added clevis shackle mounts to the front of your bumper?
I know that the bumper already has recovery points tucked underneath, but I was considering adding some mounts to protect from bad parkers. I often park in the city and all too often do I see someone attempting to park by braille. You know, they back up, till they hit something, pivot, go forward, till they hit something, pivot, and repeat till they are wedged in. You can usually tell a person with horrible parking skills just by looking at their bumpers. From the center>>left is pitted and scraped to hell.
I was thinking that it might be nice to have a leading edge that keeps them from pivoting on the main body of the bumper, OR, when I get a winch, the rollers. I know that the AOR bumper does not have a lot of straight forward facing angles, except for the winch area, but I suppose I could try to modify some clevis shackle mounts for the correct angel so that they are facing forward and not off at angles if I were to attempt this. Possible mount locations being just outside the winch mounting area, on both sides.
Thoughts? Scotty?

The issue is that there is nothing to tie them into. The structure behind it is hollow inside the wing. IMO, the bumper itself should be plenty strong and anyone parking like that will pay for it with a severely damaged plastic bumper while yours will be fine.

That's the other point I was considering. I wouldn't think that the plates are anchored as much as the main tubes to make for optimum recovery points like the provided recovery points.
Looking forward to seeing this show up at my doorstep.
Now... just weighing paint vs. powder coating.

Scotty, I've emailed a couple times but didn't get a reply so I'll try asking here: during a brief conversation we had when I purchased my plate bumper you mentioned it's not a bad idea to throw a couple/few spot welds between the bumper and the frame as extra strength for heavy winching. Can you tell me exactly what spots you would hit if you had a welder at your disposal? Have you found this unnecessary as time has passed? I did a lot of winching this past winter and had that in the back of my mind each time and would like to put that to rest.

Thanks for info, about to do this since I want the bumper a lot more solid, still has some movement with all the bolts in.
Brother just told me his 4th gen bumper is finished. Cant wait to install and see how it looks!

Is there still plans for a new rear 3rd gen bumper and maybe swingout in the future. Cant remember what the rumor was anymore. Thanks!!
