Adding a transmission oil cooler

I have a 93 4x4 and I am looking to add a transmission oil cooler, after examining the front end of my 4runner, I have not found a good location for it. Where is a good safe spot?

Thank you

Bumping and moving the thread doesn't help much.

What really would help what be knowing what engine and transmisson you have.

I'm in the same boat....I'll make the assumption that you're a 3VZE, and the A340F auto.
Further, I'll also assume that you have A/C (not sure I've seen a V6 2nd Gen without).

What makes this tough for placement of a trans cooler? The A/C condenser in front of the rad eats some space, but not all.
What really kills us is the following combos:
- mechanical fan for rad
- A/C condenser
- A/C condenser elec fan
- above said fans' grill/housing.

Tranny cooler seems to be one of the best articles I've found so far...even includes a part no from Fluidyne Automotive.

I'm in the process of swapping the trans out in mine, and will be doing this as part of that work...will post back with pics and writeup when complete.

Yes, I have the same set up 3VZE & AT, I was looking at the space between the drivers headlight and the cooling fan, however the space is still a problem. I would like to keep it somewhat protected from road debris.
