Adjustable shocks with 883s

Right now I'm putting in the rear of my lift. 890 with Billy's.
Question for my front is I've got 883 coils and my shocks are adjustable.
0-2.5 inch. If I want a 3 inch lift do I have it set to the very top or does the spring provide the lift?? Need response ASAP.

Set the Bilstein on the bottom clip. The 883's will provide all the lift.
