Adjusting 5100s After Installation?

When I installed my 5100s, I set them on the third notch. I'm about to make some changes on my setup and would like to go up to the highest setting. Has anyone found an easy way to adjust them without fully removing them from the vehicle?

A_S_R, I'm going to do the same thing when I need new tires. I was going to remove the whole assembly (top three nuts, bottom nut and bolt), slide it out together, use a spring compressor to compress it as much as possible, and try and slide it up to the top notch. However, after thinking about it some more, I don't think that's possible as the set ring that fits in the groove also needs to be slid up for the spring perch to sit on. I'm going to try it but I'll probably end up taking it all apart again. My buddy has some air tools so it's much faster.

Curious to find out how you do it, keep us posted.

Ditto, I'm thinking about doing the same. But I don't think there is going to be an easy way without compressing the coil.

I have been trying to figure out an easier way to do this myself to lower my lift back down from 4.5" to 3". I really didnt wan't to take it all back but, since these aren't actual coilovers, I dont see any other way.

My only idea was just compress the spring enough to slide my finger underneath while the coil is still assembled and lower the clip, but due to the force of the 884s and the amount they would have to be compressed to do this, it would defintately smash/break my fingers if it broke loose.

I guess you could technically try to rig something up on the rig to compress them, but I dont see any safe/smart way to do that. I've come to the conclusion the only way is to just take it all back apart.
