I finally got around to removing the zip ties holding the bottom of my grill in place. I found these metal brackets at Lowe's and decided to see if they would work. They were a couple bucks a piece with pre-drilled holes.

After test fitting I had to drill a couple holes and trim the corner off one bracket.

I masked off and painted them black. In hindsight it would have been easier to paint them first.

All done.

You almost can't see them through the grill.

Oh... also got my sliders on. I still need to pick up the front end caps for the rocker trim. [emoji48] 18 days until the Cove!

True story. I'm actually considering changing it. The current plate was hubby's idea. This plate is bad OPSEC.

When you get a chance grab the washer fluid bottle relocate from EXP-one. really cleans up that Shrockworks bumper. Plus I can't tell you many times sticks and debris broke my hoses on the original bottle. It's a small gap but it's a magnet for crap. It is a bit spendy for what it is. Totally worth it.

That looks incredible. How do you like the ride? Do you notice the weight of the bumper?

The bumper went on before the suspension.... I don't recommend this. The drive was terrible. The suspension went on three days after the bumper and made a huge difference. The drive is a bit stiffer than stock but there is less body roll and less nose dive. It handles amazingly well with the extra weight. I do leave a bigger gap in traffic because I am acutely aware that stock brakes are made for stock vehicle weight. I am still working on finding the sweet spot for my tire pressure (I'm at about 46-48 psi currently). Overall I am very pleased with the setup. I'm itching to get it off the pavement in a couple weeks to test things out. I wanted to make sure all the kinks were worked out before I did so. As an aside, I did put the heavier coil overs up front as recommended for a heavier bumper.

What are puddle lamps?

I always thought THOSE were puddle lights.

those are actually marker lights, they're supposed to signify the edge of the door to oncoming traffic. safety feature
