Ok... here's what he told me for mods...

Megan Racing Turbo outlet O2 housing to a Cobb downpipe.
Cat delete/test pipe to a Turbo XS CBE, all 3 inch.
Cobb 3 port BCS.
Cobb UIHP & LIHP.
Cobb SF intake.
Cobb 3" Silicone Turbo Inlet.
Pro Tune.
The bright red Wheels are Ultra Leggera. The dark red ones are the stock wheels plastidipped.

Awesome! I bet that is a blast on the track. Guessing he is around 380whp or so? Thanks for sharing! I miss my evo 9 sometimes. hwell:

After his first run on the track he said "my car is a lot faster than I thought it was". He had a great time with the SCCA and we will likely do some more events in the spring once it warms up.

Occasionally I get to drive it and it is a lot of fun. But I prefer my slow pig these days. I will likely at some point have another "go-fast" car... I'm just not ready for it yet.

After his first run on the track he said "my car is a lot faster than I thought it was". He had a great time with the SCCA and we will likely do some more events in the spring once it warms up.

Occasionally I get to drive it and it is a lot of fun. But I prefer my slow pig these days. I will likely at some point have another "go-fast" car... I'm just not ready for it yet.

Sweet. I would love to pick up an evo 8 as a project/fun weekend car but that wouldnt be for a few years. Those AWD Turbo cars sure are a lot of fun.

Looking to finally get the front piece that cleans up my front fender area...

I'm pretty sure this is the right part... but I'm unsure it will fit on my SR5. The bottom part of the fender flare looks different to me. I don't want to spend the cash if it's not going to fit. I can deal with slight modification, as I'm a dremel queen.

Here's the picture. Part number is: 7660435050, Fender/Exterior Trim/Mud Guard. It's number 6 in the drawing.

I know some of you have done this.

Not quite that much, but...He is set up for quick spool and good bottom and mid range torque. Big turbo guys around the 400 mark would have to try and chase him back down on long straights I would imagine.

On AWD, I'll take my power down low instead of redline...cause it's usable.

The low end torque on my G35 is great, but even with 305's on the back, not as usable, especially mid corner.

BTW...we all miss Evo 9s now...especially the trans and seats!

I think it will be okay. I just need something to fill that gap. I think there is a slight flap coming off the bottom... it will probably have a date with the dremel.

I don't know the exact list of mods.... [MENTION=132027]OneGreenTaco[/MENTION] can probably give you a better idea of what's been done. I know he isn't a fan of "stages" as each manufacturer calls different stages different things. There are a lot of Cobb parts on there, I do know that. lol! I will post up some pics here later this evening.

He is stage 24.5...so thats slower than a stage 26 neon right?:bash:

At least you aren't too scared to figure it out that way...no guts, no glory. We'll get something going.

Oh I'm sure. Most fun I had with mine was when I had an FP Green BB turbo setup. It sounded like a jet taking off and was a good power level for a street car. It was a blast giving cars 4-5x the cost of mine a run for their money when they would try to show off. :redface:

Today I managed to make it back over to the [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] garage where we completed the rear diff breather mod. In all honesty I should have done it before the Cove, but ran out of time. We spent about an hour and a half (or more) jaw jacking and probably a half hour (or less) actually doing the mod.

Super fantastic photo of Jeff's bald spot as he attached the new hardware to the top of the diff.

He used some wire loom to protect the rubber from getting rubbed on the metal (I never would have thought of that).

Pulled off the tail light and routed it up between the sheet metal and the plastic bumper cover.

We removed the plastic piece just under the tail light and drilled a couple holes in it to hold the new breather in place with a zip tie.

After all that, I went home and installed my external speaker for my cb. I did not take any pictures.

I pulled the console apart. Mounted the speaker in the passenger side footwell, ran the wiring under the console and fed it up through the bottom of the console storage to plug into the cb. Maybe I'll take a picture tomorrow. I'm pretty happy with the location.

Redid my CB stuff as well...maybe we'll be able to use those to talk now!
