Hello,
New here and have enjoyed poking around and reading some experienced 4R enthusiasts' advice.
I am looking to beef up my 00' Limited this fall and wanted to run thoughts by the group to see if I'm on the right track with a small lift and tire up-size for a scenario that will work for daily driving plus camping/fishing/ORV trips.
Front: Billstein 5100s at 2" - my understanding is that I can leave factory springs is this true?
Rear: 1.5" SAWs and Billstein set to 1.5"?
Wheels: thinking 16" 99-06 Tundra Style Matte Black
I am also going to have the bumpers and rockers sand blasted and Rhino lined w/color keyed since rust is starting in areas and I need to get 4-5 more years out of this vehicle (then keep as strictly off road), currently 182,000 miles drives like new.
Tires: How big can I go without it being ridiculous for a daily driver but still plenty beefy over the stock 265-70-16 when considering above lift scenario (assuming I'm somewhat close to what would work above). I don't like wide tires just want some lift and fill up the wells.
