Advice for fighting Warranty

Hello All

I need some advice here. I have a 2003 V8 SE 4x4 with 57K. I picked it up just over a year ago with 23k (miles) on it. I also bought the platnium extended Toyota Warranty. The head lenz's were slightly dicolored or fogged when I bought it. I took it to the dealer, they tried just using a plastic polish and they looked better. They have gotten worse again and I went back to the dealer. They called the extended warranty rep, he came and took pics, says they will not cover it. Any suggestions before I start the appeals process?

You'll have to read your warranty terms to see if the headlight is considered a wear and tear item. If it is, then your SOL as a warranty don't cover items like brake pads etc.

Extended warranties almost never cover fixtures (headlights and taillights)... They are considered cosmetic problems, not mechanical breakdowns.
