Hi, my 4Runner is a 2005 V6 limited with X-Reas. I had a flat on the front axle which I had to ride for 30 seconds to safety, which I then changed. I found out the belts in the tire were damaged and the tire is done/wrecked and has no warranty. All 4 tires are Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 265/65R17 (which is the original size) and have 9/32 of an inch tread depth, new ones should have about 13/32 of an inch tread depth. I was wondering if it would be adviseable for the 4x4 drivetrain to buy 2 new tires (Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 265/65R17) and put them on the front axle, at the same time leaving the tires alone on the rear axle and keeping the one good tire now on the front axle as a spare tire, is a smart idea? I was wondering if the resulting 9/32 tread depth on the rear and ~13/32 tread depth on the on the front would hurt the drivetrain when driving the 4Runner in 2wd, 4wd, transfer case ingaged or center differential engaged? I destroyed a tire and don’t want one new, but exactly the same type of tire with more tread causing problems so I am hoping to buy 2 new A/T Revo(s) of the same size as the remaining tires are like new. Should the new tires go on the front or rear axle?

Don't give it a second thought... Some systems are super-sensitive for a variety of reasons. The T4R system is a low tech system w/ some high tech electronics laid on top of it. It can easily handle a few 32's.
How often do places rotate tires and two guys do it? They each check the pressure with thier own gauge, you get home and follw up only to discover that there's 2-3psi difference R to L. That 2-3psi = a few 32's...

Since you have a V6...and if you drive 2wd most of the time...just getting two new tires (on same axle) should be fine...and even should be fine on 4wd mode if need be.
However, if it were me, I would be there better tires on the back instead of the front. You want your best tires to be on the rear of the vehicle...oversteer is worse than understeer...so they say...
