Hello, first post here, just looking for someone to help me out. I have a 2006 4Runner limited all stock. I want to do some upgrades and just wanted to make sure I am on the right track. I want to put on a lift, most likely daystar 2.5/1.5. New tires, looking at general granber at2's, bfgs or Cooper discoverers. And some spacers, spidertraxx look like my best bet. I have the xreas shocks so my main question is can I put the daystars on with those or do I have to buy new shocks as well? Any input and additional comments or advice is helpful, thank you.

Ok so I think I figured I am only able to do the spacer lift with the xreas and that would be the daystars I want. Any benefit from getting rid of xreas to something else? 4Runner has 163,000 miles, maybe it's time to get them changed anyway? Any input is welcome.

I have a 2007 that I just put a cornfed 3/2 spacer lift on. It has 140k miles and also has xreas. You can put spacer lift on and keep xreas, but installation is a ***** because you have to compress the spring in the wheel well. If you are getting a shop to do it, many will not touch a truck with xreas. I off-road about once a month and kind of regret the spacer lift as spacer lifts offer no flex whatsoever. If you have the budget and like to off-road every now and then, I would spend about 800 on a good lift kit.
If you only car about aesthetics, then there is no need to unnecessarily spend more for good shocks. Given, I don't know when your shocks were last changed so you have to take that into account as well.
