Advice On a New Quiet Car

i'm not sure what this turbo lag you speak of is, my A4 is quite responsive. in fact the k03 is a very quick spooling turbo and the engine makes its peak torque under 2,000 and holds steady until 5,000. that is very impressive for a 4cyl engine, the only downside is that it consumes oil like a pig and VW/Audi will tell you its normal and youre left with topping it off with oil every 2,000 miles.

I've got some new information, fellas. The boys over at the GM forum mentioned that in the Fall of 2012 Buick will be releasing the Verano turbo with a 250hp engine, in both 6 speed automatic and a 6 speed manual. If you do some digging on the internet you can even find a photo of the Verano with a third pedal. I test drove this car again over the weekend and I love everything about it, I can't imagine how awesome it would be with the turbo engine. The only con I found about the car is the BOSE stereo, which honestly sucks, I would rate it at 3/10, I can't even imagine what the stock stereo sounds like. However, I already have aftermarket speakers and sub that I plan on installing.

Also, 0-60mph with the turbo is quoted at 6.5 seconds, which isn't slow but isn't fast either (I think it's fine personally).

Now, the only question is, with the Choccachino leather interior do you think the silver exterior will look good? I was thinking of getting black but we all know how hard it would be to keep clean. My 4runner is silver and I wash it once in a while and it always looks like it just had a wash. I plan on getting Hüper Optik 50% tint all around (including the windshield).

the black one looks so much nicer with those wheels, i just cant get over paying that much for a Chevy Cruze

That interior is crying out for a dark burgundy exterior (at least in my mind, anyway!). Not to rain on anyone's parade, but to me that exterior has almost no personality, expecially for a Buick. It just looks like it could've been built by any number of automakers. I agree with the poster that questioned the success of Buick's trying to reach a new audience. Again, just my opinion.

The Buick Verano is an excellent choice...but i still can't get over the rear end look...with the angry brow. The front looks nice IMO. A great car...and certainly turning out to be a great buy vs. Acura ILX!! Acura is crazy to price the ILX so high!
