Advice on buying a 4 Runner

Alright me and the wife is fixing to buy a 4 Runner.. we have made up our mind that we are getting the Sport Edition with the V6.. the real question is.. Should i get a 05 or wait for a 06... Also i work at T.M.M.I so i get the vehicle at cost.... The reason we dont want a V8 really is b/c we dont need the V8 i dont tow anythang.. and my wife will be driving it more than me and she doesnt really need the power.. and last.. what does XREAS stand for.. I read in another thread saying that the 06 has this? explain..

All SEs starting in '03 - '06 have the XREAS, which enhances on-road suspension/handling. Off-road it does very little except get in the way of most people lifting their 4Runners. You would have to drive it to feel the difference, and some people say there is very little difference between XREAS and non-XREAS setups.

If you get the vehicle at cost the only thing you will lose is any rebates. Rebates are typically offered after the model year has been around for a few months and they have weeded out all those people that just "gotta have it now" When I looked through the specs for the '05 SE vs the '06 SE, I don't think you gain (or lose) anything from waiting except the rebate.

alright.. thanx for the help... Yea after i posted the question bout the XREAS i found the sticky about it... Yea that was my biggest debate was the rebate... i know from what i read the 06 was gonna have a lil change done to it and i was wondering if the changes were worth losing the rebates over..
