Advice on towing PSI

Have searched the forum and found one good source of info, however, I wanted to throw out my stats and soak in the broad base of knowledge found in this forum.
I am travelling tomorrow, hauling my 07 Harley VRSCAW on a Kendon One Bike trailer, for a total of 1800 miles.
Total weight of trailer and bike= 1000lbs.
Gear loaded in 5th Gen SR5= 600lbs.
I have filled trailer tires to within a couple pounds of max PSI Cold - (48lbs of a 51 max.)
I put air in the T4R tires. Taking them up to 42 PSI Cold (Max 51).
Are we good here? Especially on the 4R? I figured with the trailer and gear loaded in back that I should add.
Am I off here or missing something?

That sounds like you have it covered. I'd make sure the trailer spare is up to full pressure and I'd put the 4Runner spare up to 42psi. It's easy to let a little out if you put it on the front and it'll be just right if you need for the rear.

What do you have the front tires at? I'd want a bit of a split with the fronts softer. It'll be a more neutral steering feel. If you run 42 in the front the front will dart and the back will feel loose. For the described load with the 51psi max tires I'd want 35-37 in the front, 42 in the back. I wouldn't run the rears above 47psi cold. It sounds like you're near the limit.

Good, good. I'll let air out of the front tires (down to 37 PSI) - good advice on the spare as well.
