Advice on Yoko Geolandar H/T-S

Hey guys!

Can't find much on the H/T version of the Yokohama Geolandar's. Used the search engine but most of you guys have the All-terrain version. Any advice from 3rd gens with the H/T? Found a set on craigslist with ~70% tread for $160. 265/75r16. Any advice would be awesome.

I'm from Florida so I need tires that will be good for wet pavement and will hopefully last a while! Don't care about off-road ability or snow/ice. Thanks!

i had them on my truck when i bought them, once the tread gets low they arnt very good in the wet. but they do wear pretty good.

Bridgestone Revo 2s are good in the rain until they start to wear. Expect about 40,000 miles out of a set of four. Just don't offroad in them.

Got 30,xxx on mine, great tire for the money IMO, especially at that price, BUT I know how hard it can rain in Florida and I think you should look elsewhere, they do bog down hard in standing water.

i had them on my runner lasted me 60k and they are awesome, the truck handle great in all weather. the only issue i saw was grip getting out of a spot in heavy snow, but once out it handled great in the snow. i miss the yokos i now have firestone at and the road noise is horrible. if you buy them you wont regret your purchase

Never had the hts, but i do have the at-s, ride great on the road and highway, do well in the dirt, and they have held up well. No complaints at all.

Thanks for all the advice, guys! I actually decided not to drive over to Jacksonville to get them. Kind of second guessing the 265/75's. Gonna surf craigslist for some 265/70's instead. I'm not necessarily looking to gain height, mainly just width. I have 245/75's now so the view from behind the truck is pretty narrow.
