AFE CAI modification to suit my needs

Here are some pics of the AFE CAI modification using the OEM air intake duct with the sound barrier or silencer. Now sounds like stock up to 3500rpm and gets louder over 4300rpm but very much to my liking and is 100% cold air coming from the fender well as I cover the additional front scoop (see pics). I used carbon fiber sheets to cover all the openings and the front scoop.

I picked up one of these AFE intakes but I'm having some issues with the install. Any chance you could help? I'm not sure about the orientation of the intake pipe and exactly where each hose gets attached. I tried to install it yesterday but ended up busting one of the bolts required to hold the box down (which is my other problem now). For now.. I've got the stock pieces back in place (minus the one bolt).
