After a long 22 weeks of waiting,

I finallly got the Gobi and installed it last night. It’s a very nice addition to the 4Runner. Install was pretty simple and took around 3-4 hours and the help of my wife to lift it up. The holes lined up pretty good and was surprised with the extras that helped make the instal go easier. Like the anti seize and the clear automotive tape for the wind deflector. For my wife and I, it was worth the wait.

I just got mine a few days ago...took about the same time. They honored my TD price too but it was like regular price, just the extra gas struts...how did you get for $1435? That is pretty good. Not that it matters for me since I already got my rack. Just curious...I didn’t see any of those deals from TD.

Looks fantastic. They say that mine will ship sometime early September so I am ecstatic. Has been about 16 weeks so far - been getting a fair amount of emails from them too.

But that price you got is astounding. Good for you! Mine is a bit over $1500 for the Stealth Rack and Ladder ... that's it.

Damn I must drawn the short straw for customer service. Emails, voicemails (all polite) and even used the Order request function on their website. Hopefully I'll hear something after the holiday.
