Anyone that has the JBL sound system will not have the cargo area mirrors because there are speakers in the place where the mirrors would be without the JBL system.

How do you have the side mirrors set up? If they're angled wide enough, you should be able to see anything near/behind you...I do admit that sometimes in the rain, it would be nice to have assistance because when those side mirrors collect a ton of rain, it's a little difficult to see out of them.

Nighttime rain and very dark. Love the interior flank mirrors but they are useless at night.

The radar on the wife's Lexus NX is appreciated at those times. Daytime is not an issue at all.

Planning to keep the 07 for some time so wondering about it.

I really like BSM too. I was a little annoyed it didn't come on my brand new 4Runner. However maybe in the next few years there will be a way to add it. I don't think now it makes sense $$. Others on here just don't like the new technology that helps make us safe obviously.

I think the combination of the BSM and good driving is a winning combination. Sometimes one just cannot see that area of the lane next to you especially in city driving imho.
