After market leather installed problem

I went to pick up my new 05 SE with after market leather. This is my first car with leather so i know very little. All looked great except for the back seat. On the raised part where your back goes, it had a lot of excess leather. It is some what puckered and it just looks baggy to me. the front seats do not look like this at all. The sales rep called the leather place and they said they put extra foam in the seats for a better feel. They also said the weather will shrink the leather tighter and to give it two weeks. They said if i am still not happy to bring it back and they will re do something. well what do you think. I can't send photos as i am leaving for business for two weeks. When i get back i will definetly send pics.

Actually, a lot of aftermarket leather is softer than stock leather, with the exception of higher end cars..

I had similar when I had my leather installed. It went away. But mine wasn't really very extreme as they did stretch it well. It would be hard to tell without pics, but you say you'll get those later.. Anyways, if they say give it two weeks, and if you don't like it, come back; then it sounds like they'll take care of you.. I'd give it the two weeks and see how it does..

I also think that it goes away faster if it is sat in; however, being it the back seat, it obviously doesn't get as much sit in time as the drivers seat..

I had leather seats installed in my '04 and they came out great, but the back panel of the rear seats won't stay clipped on. I bought new clips from Toyota but no luck. The guy who installed them recommended that I find a clip that might fit better. It seems as though since the foam is thicker than the original seat covers, the clips need to be longer? Anyone run into this and find a solution...thanks! Randy

yea, my was the same way about the back clip coming off the back seat panel so I just screw the back down really depth with little screw and you can't barely see it if you look really close.
