After market stereo swap, orange wire?

I'm doing this right now, swapping from a pioneer to Sony. There is an extra wire that isn't connected. On the left plug, it's orange white. There is another disconnected on the right plug, it's orange black. Any ideas? I'll probably just leave it alone since the other stereo was working fine.

My Crutchfield instructions said to tape it off - not used. There is no corresponding wire in the Toyota harness. It was for dimming the display in some vehicles. I gather from some posts I've read when I was researching grounding issues I later had that it can cause some blown fuses.

I use the orange white, i have no problems, i wonder why everyone else had problems with the wire, orange white is the positive, orange black is a negative. When i used the harness i didnt have that orange and black, only orange and white. Use the orqnge and white for your radio. If yiu dont see anymore lights check the fuse.

Yep, tape off the orange and black and don't use it.

Thanks, all. I taped them off and everything works normally. I guess only some radios have the ability to dim using the orange wire, my harness didn't have an orange coming out and nothing about it in the manual.
