After market UCAs?

I am thinking about getting aftermarket UCAs.

First: has anyone with a 2.5-3 in lift who has installed these noticed much improved highway handing over the stock arms with as much lift? I know it should get my alignment back, which is way off, I am just wondering how noticeable it will be and if the money is worth spending.

Second: Which ones should I get? Light Racing are tempting because they are less expensive, but I can't figure out what makes the more expensive ones like Icon and Total Chaos better. Icon is too expensive for me, but I wonder if it is worth considering the Total Chaos ones.

IMO i would just get the light racings. I ran a set on my FJ, the ball joints are sealed unlike total chaos or camburgs. I also think the light racing ucas offer more adjustments than the othrers. One you put aftermarket ucas on and get an alignment, you will be able to tell a difference. All that said, i'm running the icons on my 4runner. I had some cash at the time and thought it was a good idea, now i wish i spent it on something different. You're basically paying for.the bling with the icons.

Will,

Update on installing these and your overall impression with quality and achievement of what you were looking for?

I had a shop do the install. I haven't done an extensive amount of driving since, but so far so good. They got the aligment perfect, and there is less wander at highway speeds. I can't say it was aweful before, but it is noticeably better with the proper alignment at highway speeds.

I'm in Tucson, who did your UCA install?
