After the M3, heres my 06 4Runner

New to me 2006 4Runner.

First of, I wanna thank everyone on the forum that helped me with the purchase.

I found it siting at a Nissan dealership in Las Vegas so I flew out there yesterday and drove it back 4 hrs today. I love this truck and cant wait to start modding it (its hard not to after reading this forum).

First two mods already ordered:

1. Weather-Tech floor mats and cargo liner
2. Weather-Tech deflector

Ive been looking for excuses all day to drive it and have not regretted getting this after the M3 one bit. I look forward to enjoying that truck for a very long time and learning a lot more from you guys in the process.

I was starting to have quite a few issues with it. I just did not want to keep pouring more money into it. It was a great car but I just couldn't afford the maintenance on it anymore. Plus I really wanted a vehicle i can take up to the mountains for some snowboarding action versus renting a car since i couldn't put chains on the M3.

Overall: the m3 was a really fun car to drive around. But it was a 2002 and things were starting to fall apart a little, so decided on 4Runner which was what I always wanted to get before the teenager in me decided to pick up the M3.

Yeah.. ///M3s are not cheap to maintain, but they are FUN!! I have an '89 M3 that I've had for about 15 years, but it needs a little TLC right now...

And by they way, very nice looking Sport. You'll love the V8 going up in the mountains. I had Sport V8 before I got my Limited V8. Before I picked up the Limited, I was looking a a '10 4Runner. I'll tell you, there's no way I could go back to the V6, especially in a 4Runner that ways 300-400lbs more than the old one. The lack of torque was very noticeable. Still can't believe Toyota nixed the V8 option in the runner.. :bash:

Congrats on the new Runner, I love the white, I wish I could afford to paint mine white, maybe one day, for now I'll keep my sparkly grey. I just got my '07 runner in December and it is the best vehicle I have ever owned! Congrats again!

Just curious, what kinda maint probs were u having with z m3? I always wanted one my self and when that body style came out I almost got one, but at the time I knew if I took on that high of a payment maint may have been tough to afford
