Aftermarket Bumper

After work today I'm going to check out a sport hood, and front and rear aftermarket bumpers. He says they are for a 3rd gen, but he doesn't know what kind they are. I think they are plate bumpers from his explanation If they are an ARB or something else I might buy them to sell or keep.
So my question is there any way to see if a bumper is made for the 3rd gen other than just putting it on?
I'm going to look into what companies make rear bumpers. I know CBI does.
If I end up getting them I will post some pics tonight. Thanks.

It's better to know for sure rather that just taking his words for it,,,so take a tape measure with you and measure some mounting points and it's overall dimensions..Look for any possible branding on the surface that can be used as reference too..

yes, test yourself. I learned the hard way, I went 70 miles to Pfulgerville, TX to pick up a brush guard from this kid. It was $80, but for a me, a 17 year old who was not working at the time, that was a significant amount. Brought it home and went to put it on....it doesn't fit 3rd gen Runners like he said. Buyer Beware I guess

Yeah I want to make sure, but the guy said they were on a 01 that had rolled on the trail. He says it is a plate bumper with hoops for the front and a plate with tire mount for the back. It is killing me that he didn't have them tonight when I went to pick up the hood. BTW I got the hood, grille and tail lights for $100. So pumped and I think I can get the bumpers if they are ok for around 400. He said he can get them tonight or tomorrow.
