Did you have it in the rear end? Mine is up front, so unless I'm in 4wd there are no drive-ability issues. Definitely no racket. I can just barely hear it clicking when I turn if I have my window down. When I'm in 4wd, it steers a little more difficult but that's about it. But my rig only gets into 4wd when I'm off road.

I had the Richmond power-trax in my dana 30 and in the rear an 8.8 w/ trac-lok equiped with new spiders and clutches.

I went airlockeer because the rears clutches would be .08X where spec is .093 and new .095 after only a year. Front just made too much noise and unpredictable handling in the snow.

I would use one on a tight budget, but I learned to just get what you want off the rip because you'll get it eventually.

Haha so last questions, who has the best deal with promo, shipping, forum discount for sponsors? Also I need a lead on the bearing and seals kit since ill be needing mine for mock-ups. Who sells one complete? I'm not changing gears.

East Coast Gear Supply ECGS is a good company to deal with and they have run a couple of group buys in the past. And btw you can run those 235/85R16 tires without a lift .

I never found myself needing a locker or putting my truck on a trail that was too narrow for it.
But then again I have a 5 speed with stock 4:56 gears so my truck crawls in 4lo/1st gear
