You probably could do it without removing the bumper, but it's literally 8 bolts and 8 clips. It is actually easier to put it back on than it is to take off.

I would recommend just pulling it off, it will allow you to make the holes easier and run the wiring easier. Also the lower grill section comes right out so you can cut the holes on the bench instead of trying to work with it on the truck.

The PIAA lights I installed are the ATP pattern, which is like a wide driving light. They are not as bright as I had hoped, since they are only 4" lights. I have yet to use them out in the woods though, so they may be brighter than I think.

Do you have any night time pictures of the piaa's? Now that I have been looking into this some more, I kinda like the idea of your 510's but was hoping to see a night picture to see if they are truly worth it. I know they are only 4", so I'm not looking to turn night into day, but just an added light pattern down the road. Thanks again!
