aftermarket fog lights

EDIT: HOW TO MOUNT my aftermarket fog lights

so in my 01 sr5, as you know there are the holes for the fog lights, but no lights to fill them. as i look behind the bumper, there looks to be wireing for them. so if i were to buy some lights for it, i know i would obivously need the lights, the fuse, but what else? are the sr5's wired to activate them with the stock wires, or do i need to do anything else.

second, would you recomend getting the factory fog lights, or aftermarket (price, which brand, bightness)

EDIT: so i bought the hella optilux 1182 fog lights, but after looking under the bumper, i see no way to have them be mounted. im not an experienced fabricator, so i cant really jerry rig any thing. if you have any of the hella optilux lights, how did you mount them, or any other suggestions from anyone else.

that looks pretty sick, but as i look under the bumper, there are white connectors that split off of the turn signal wires that lead to a land of nowhere. wouldnt that be the fog light wireing?

also what skid plate is that on there?

and does anyone else have any suggestions, because i thought i saw the stock fog lights on burtmanindustries for like 90 a light

I bought a pair of the Hella Optilux fogs in yellow and they cost me only $27 shipped and are much more uselful than the Silverstar H3s were in any kind of wet weather.

aftermarket fogs

How have you guys been mounting the fog lights? I know how the factory fogs mount but finding an easy way to mount aftermarket fogs in that position is proving difficult.

I bought the Fog Lights from Performance Products for my 2000 SR5--they are factory style lights tht come with all the mounting and wiring hardware plus the toggle switch. I wired mine to work with my low and high beams so that I could have control over them as well s they work with just my park lights on. They were 99.00 for the set when i bought them and have been pleased ever since. If you search by my name you will see the post we made about those as well as others who ordered them also

Those lights from PP are no longer offered and have been discontinued. I have an account with PP and the last pair was sold about 2 months ago.

I still have some other options on the website though.

So I have a 2001 4Runner and I was wondering how you guys have mounted the optilux 1182. Did you fabricate a bracket or what?
