Aftermarket Head Unit Help

Hey guys, I am new to the forums. I have an 06 sport w/ the JBL factory upgrade system. I am wanting to upgrade my head unit (I like the speakers), but seeing that I am an car audio/video newcomer, I figured I would ask for help. Could anybody tell me which head unit would be best for me. I want DVD, Navi, Bluetooth, Ipod, Touch Screen, Sat Radio ready, HD radio and possible Sub upgrade in future. Also if you could tell me what accessories are needed to complete the install, i.e. wires, harnesses, trim pieces, antennas, brake bypass, etc. If this question has already been asked could you steer me in the right direction. Sorry to ramble, but I don't want to forget anything :thanks:

I was leaning that way. Thanks for the advice, any advice on misc pieces I would need to complete the job? Thanks

If you're going double din, make sure to get the right Metra trim piece and have it installed well. Also don't forget to get the JBL amp bypass module. Search for it and you'll find the right answers.

If this is the first car stereo installation you have ever done, go with Crutchfield. You may spend a little more, but they'll provide absolutely everything you need (harnesses, trim kit, speaker brackets, etc.) to do the job, plus they have phone tech support to help you out.

I wasn't planning to install the radio myself. I just wanted to make sure I buy the correct stuff for a stereo shop to install. I was going to try to buy all the parts and pieces to save a couple bucks. Maybe I should just have them buy everything since they will be doing install?
