Aftermarket headlights

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these headlights?

99-02 TOYOTA 00 01 4RUNNER HEADLIGHTS HEADLAMPS SET NEW:eBay Motors (item 7969131993 end time Jan-22-10 03:14:41 PST)

My runner is a '97 model with the yellow foggy headlights, I think the stock 99+ up headlights are like $320. Would the above headlights work fine or would the light output be horrible? I originally wanted to get them to do a retrofit but I don't have the time or money for that right now. :hungry:

everybody says the beam pattern is sketchy...I'd really like a set too, but I've been putting it off because of what everyone's saying...I still have yet to see before and after photos of the light output...anyone got 'em?

I bought a headlight off ebay a few months ago and the fit was perfect but the beam pattern was way off. I would contact the seller and ask who manufactures the ones you linked too. If you find a Depo brand then those will be an exact replacement with a matching beam pattern. My guess is the Depo was the OEM for 3rd gen headlights.

Didn't you get to see my beam pattern mismatch at the meet? I remember showing you the difference in the reflector pattern but maybe you didn't actually get to see the light difference. I might be able to post a pic later. Hopefully I can find a replacement tomorrow at the salvage yard otherwise I'm ordering through Keystone. Btw, I'll snatch up any 99-02 runner headlights I might find while I'm out

Yeah you had to hack up the cone to get it right...I don't remember actually seeing the output though, but then again I can't remember what I ate for breakfast...
