aftermarket horn

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket horns? I ordered one from ALPEX usa in miami as my brother has one of these monster trumpet horns on his H3. however on the 3rd gen 4runner there is next to no space for something this large. The horn is loud and mad as hell and would better suit the runner versus the factory horn, but if it wont fit it wont fit.

get a 10 gallon air compressor with a 1in air line which feeds 2 train horns. P.S. Mount them on the roof, plenty of room there.

one option the manufacturer suggested was to mount it behind the grill pointing downward and the compressor straight up.

stebel compact air horn for me its plug and play fits behind the grill just fine and is plenty loud

thanks Elton, appreciate that. since i have this one i ordered in town, the dealership is going to give it a shot tomorrow. if they cant mount it then i'll go with something smaller.

Man i wish i had one of the train horns then wire it to the alarm, itd be real funny to set it off during class and watch the dumbass secruity guards try to stop it.

they are not that much IF you already have a CO2 set up or a compressor. Ive got airhorns that I run from my CO2..
The horns themselves can be had for about $50 on ebay,, WELL WORTH IT
