Aftermarket HU

Ok guys, I finally got it in. I was posting on here a while ago with the all too common problem of having the JBL 10 speaker system and wanting to just replace the HU. I finally found an installer in Largo, Florida that has his own method of install. Somehow this guy intercepted the data bus to the OEM amp and fully integrated my new headunit. I now have all channels working and it actually sounds even better than the old HU. :biggrin2: I know a pretty good amount about custom installs, but I have no f'ing idea how this guy did it. Anyway, ill add some pics, and the place is called Car Tunes in Largo Florida. Talk to Alex. More importantly, now we can be sure that it is 100% possible to just swap HU with the JBL 10spk system.

Great shot. The low resolution, super large image effect is probably not what you want for an internet though.
