Aftermarket LBJ, Fully built Spindle

Has anyone heard anything about the VERY expensive 1996-2004 TACOMA / 1996-2002 4RUNNER ? Solo Motorsports LBJ/Spindle upgrade provided by these guys. I'm looking at replacing LBJ's, Gusseting spindles, Uniball UCA and I am doing this in preparation for a 4wd conversion using manual hubs.
$1699 Spindles

$850 LBJ and Heim Steering.

-My question really is, I am NOT desert racing, this is purely an Overland Expedition/Camping Rig, Would it be worth paying crazy amounts of money for this or going all OEM replacement (LBJ, ITRE,OTRE, and adding the gusset to the spindle?

Those look super overkill! but how much is piece of mind worth to you? I'm not a fan of heim/rose joints for longevity though.

You'll have to replace more than you think to run those. I looked at them before, and the realized that you'll also need their UCA's. There's also a $350 core charge unless you give them your old hubs.

Replace everything with new OEM stock, and you'll be fine.

I've looked at them many times as well. Overkill unless you're going long travel and want all the nice goodies. Or just have money to blow and feel like buying me the setup to test out for you

I think the resonating answer here is just stick with OEM, no reason in particular to want these other than the idea of having a truly bulletproof build.

I appreciate your responses I will probably just go with the TC Gussets for the spindles, OEM replacements for it all, BAMF LCA Skids and Tubular Uniball UCA's. I've heard of a replacement rack bushing, but there's nothing really to upgrade besides new stuff.

Regardless of whether all that fancy aftermarket stuff is worth the cost or "bullet proof", the first concern that comes to my layman's mind is this: "If I'm out in the middle of nowhere and part of it does break — how do I get another one? And if I can't, will regular OEM or even cheap aftermarket parts work with the rest of the fancy parts until then?"

If I was doing that cross-country stuff or traveling down into South America sort of thing — I would want everything OEM and easily replaceable by any rinky-dink auto-parts store or roadside shop.
