Aftermarket or after purchase stuff advice

Realized after we got home today with our new 4runner, that it didn't come with the chrome exhaust tip that all the rest we looked at seemed to have included. Ours was dealer transferred and I guess the other dealer just doesn't care to include those. I found a few that claim to be OEM tips on ebay. Are they worth it for around 60 bucks? Anyone else pick one up elsewhere that works and looks just as well?

Also, any suggestions on some decent rubber mats for better protection, other than husky liners? Showed those to my wife and she wants some protection but doesn't want something that covers so much of the carpet.

I was wondering the same thing about the exhaust tip. Floor mat wise, WeatherTech makes a mat that is essentially a heavy duty version of the factory mats instead of the Huskey weather beaters or the digital fit mats that cover almost everything. They were more what is was looking for than the extreme coverage, they also happen to be rubber. I have owned them before, had no complaints.

Just go to Weathertech's site and run a search for the make, model, etc. They'll be in the results for our vehicle.

I have the Weather Tech mats (not the digital fit) which sound like what you are looking for. Heavy duty rubber that holds up.

As for the exhaust tip you can have mine, but just know it has been crushed into an oval from off-roading. :lmao:

Covered on the mats. If anyone has any tips on the chrome exhaust tip, would appreciate it. Can the toyota one be installed over the tailpipe or is there some cutting required?

Tip Installed

The tip just bolts on with spacers. No cutting needed at all. It literally took me 10 minutes.
