I have a 2005 4Runner with the JBL system w/out navigation. I installed a Sony CDX-GT6201P so I can play my iTouch in the truck. I installed it with the Scosche integrater harness and the PAC SWI-PS steering wheel controller. The problem that I am getting is the volume seems to get low and then loud. I called Schosche and they advised that the Scosche unit was bad. So I replaced it, followed the tech's instructions on reinstalling the factory unit, turning the volume 3/4 up, unplugging it and then installing the Sony and I'm still having the same problem. I switched the preset on the Sony from sub out to amp out and it seemed to help as it does not do it as much, but still does it. Is it possible that the Sony is bad? I'm awaiting an answer from Crutchfield (who I bought the unit from) but figured I'd post this incase someone knows a solution or had the same problem.
