Aftermarket Radio Wiring

IMMA NEWB HERE, BUT I JUST INSTALLED MY HEAD UNIT AND AND MY RADIO(TUNER DOESNT WORK. MY TRUCK IS A 2004 T4R W/O THE JBL SYSTEM. THERE WAS A RADIO PLUG LIKE NORMAL AND THEN THERE WAS A MINI ONE.WTH IS THE MINI ONE. OR THE WIRE THAT GOES FROM THE 2 ANTENNA WIRES TO THE RADIO HARNESS .IS THAT. DO i HAVE TO HOOK UP A POWER SIGNAL TO THE ANTENNA OR IS IT GROUND . cURRENLY THE RADIO GOES IN AND OUT.i ALSO WANTED TO KNOW IF i HOOK UP THE DIMMER SWITC. IS THAT A POS OR NEG. i HAVE THE DAY RUNNING LIGHTS AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON.SO IF i HOOK IT UP WILL IT DIM WITH THE HEADLIGHTS. bUT i REALLY NEED MY RADIO ANT.ANY HELP WILLL BE GREATLY APPPREICIATED. :help: :bugeye: :FOS: :FOS: :goinposta

When you hook up after market you have to use the large antenna cable and also hook up the power antenna lead from the new radio to the power antenna lead from the wire harness this will activate the power booster installed in the car also I hooked up the dimmer wire and it did nothing

YEAH MY PIONEER HEAD UNIT DOESNT HAVE A ANTENNA OUTPUT. SO i CAN JUST HOOK UP TO THE AMP REMOTE ,RIGHT???????AND ALSO IS THE DIMMER SIGNAL A POS OR NEG. .cUZ I MIGHT WANT TO PUT A RELAY TO THE PARKING LIGHTS SO i CAN GET A DIMMER. CUZ MY HEADUNIT IS TO BRIGHT AT NIGHT................OH YEAH WHAT THE HELL IS THAT MINI PLUG

you can hook up to the amp relay as for the mini plug i forget what they told me but is for some kind if other signal my radio works great without it and the dimmer light I really dont know maybe someone else can help
