Aftermarket Rear-View Camera Install

Picked up a wireless rear-view camera since my 4R did not come with one. I'm thinking about mounting the camera near the hitch receiver area. With all the snow we've had lately, this seems to be the one area of the truck that stays dry. And since I really bought the camera for helping me align hitch and ball, it is the most logical mounting location.

I'm looking for advice w/r/t running the camera wire into the cargo area (inside). The wire needs to plug into the wireless transmitter that I plan on mounting somewhere in the cargo area. Did Toyota provide a plug somewhere back there that I could remove and run the wire thru? If not, anyone have any ideas for a clean install? I'd really like to avoid drilling if at all possible.

Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure where it is, but there definitely is one. crawl under the truck and look for wires being fed from the outside to the inside. I know sometimes if you pry up your door sill (I think thats what it's called) you can find a spot there to run wires in/out.

What kind of brand did you buy

Peak Performance. Available at most auto parts stores (Pep Boys, Advance Auto, etc). I loosely wired it up last night to test it out before starting the install and it checked out pretty good. Quite nice, actually. Mine has the smaller screen, 2.4" maybe, but it's crystal clear and will do the trick for my needs. Some reviews complain about the reception, but I don't seem to have that problem. I had the transmitter laying on the ground under the hitch and still got perfect reception. Still, I plan on mounting it with an almost line-of-site to the dash mounted camera receiver.
