aftermarket skid plate

I've been looking for a aftermarket skid plate and can't find any besides jaos and i don't wanna drop that much cash on it.. has anyone else found any other ones or has a different one.

You want a showy one or one that is made for protection? The Jaos one is more for show like the Toyota Sport skidplate but fancier and more $$$.

Here's my *bling* OEM one but it's removed for off roading since it'll fold up upon contact with anything.

yeah i want more for looks. the stock one has some rough spots from rust. thanks for the info

heres a "thought" if your looking for a skid thats "more" for looks, that tells me you would like something a little strong than stock.
So look into getting the BudBuilt, and you can have it powder coated in any color you want, or even have it chromed,, I personally wouldnt do that, but your not wheeling it like I do, lol nothing wrong with that.

Just an idea to powdercoat the BudBuilt :bigok:

I have a ome 02 skid plate, what I need is the brackets for it. Anyone know where I can buy some besides the stealership ?

if your going for looks your factory one will look just fine with some sanding and paint. good job pulling up my thread techno. i think your info would of been the most useful compared to the others. i would rather have functionality over looks anyday.

and if it comes down to it, i like the look of no skid but i couldnt justify it. i would have a rock in my oil pan in no time.
