OK maybe Im showing my ignorance here, however, i cant stand my horn on my 88 4R. Would it be blastphemous to change it over(or even possible) to something a little more manly???

I like my horn on my .o2 it sounded better than the horn on my 95 Tacoma. The tacoma was teased as being girly. Heheheh it was ok cause the girly Tacoma got me a lot of chicks.

I have heard a guy installed air horns on his 4Runner. Now that is what I really want on my rig.

This is a question you do not even need to ask. You will find tons of threads about this topic...you will also find a good informative thread in another forum..I refuse to mention them :D

But most of all, go to a PEP Boys, AutoZone or whatever, and you will find easy to install airhorns, electronic horns, dukes of hazard horns. It's out there.

FYI.... i actually found a basic low tone horn at my local supermarket for 12 bucks... took fifteen minutes to instill(after i figured out how to get the stupid grill off) i wish they made a better plug though... i had to cut the plug and put female spade ends(and some electical tape to help with keeping them dry) to get it connected... all in all, well worth my time to not get laughed at when i hit my horn
