I don't know what you'll do with the front shocks. Just get the springs. You could possibly use the rear shocks but they will probably be worn out

Well I'm sure I'm going to be removing these myself (any tips on how to safely do this?????) and I doubt the guy will only let me get the coils that's why I said I'd get them all.

Those front shocks are usually pretty hard to get off. That top mount in the engine bay is usually the worst amongst the shock removal mainly because the shock body will turn when you try to turn the top nut. I'll get a pic of the tool I used to hold the shock body from underneath while my buddy put a ratchet on the top nut.

As far as the rear shock removal goes. There is a plate that the upper shock mount bolts in to. Remove that plate and the shock will come out.

Is the truck on blocks? If not, you'll need to keep it off the ground some way after you remove the coils. You can shove a hi-lift in the front frame opening if the front bumper is missing. I want to say there is a large enough gap in the rear frame as well but it has a crossmember that might be in the way.

Check the add it's on wheels with just a frame, body is gone. And I'm glad I didn't try to solo mission this one. Alright well I'm gonna fly you out here to help me. See you tomorrow, lol just kidding. I'll prob get my cousin to help. And any clue where I can get that tool? Auto zOne?

No. Just take the sway bars off; detach the shocks; jack up the frame; push down on the axle while pulling out the springs; and set the frame on blocks so u can get the other side out.

Those rubber strap wrenches are at most places that sell tools. Harbor freight has them for $5 but it would it probably be better to undo the bottom shock mount and break the shocks off if the owner will let you. I'm not saying they will be easy to break off but it would be quicker for sure.

There is a guy in Sacramento selling the tall 9.5 wraps I am looking for the shorter 7's. If anyone wants his info just let me know. (I have no idea what he is asking)

If I can't get it off when I go, I'll bring a saws all and get it for sure.

Since I have y'all in here, install is pretty much plug an play right?
 
I got some 9 wraps out by just using a crow bar. It wasn't the smartest thing and I ended up crushing my pinky in the process, but it works.

A long pry bar is another great tool to take with you as you may find that pushing on the axle may not be enough to free the springs.
