Air Bag Color

What color is my steering wheel and airbag in my 2004 sr5 with stone interior? Is it black or grey?

I've been looking for a airbag w\audio control to replace mine without audio. I've seen both grey and black list but they almost look the same. I've also seen charcol, grey and black sterring wheel listed.

Mine looks black but then it looks more charcol.

Any idea?

I would say black. I would only call it grey if it was obviously grey. Such as your stone interior.

Mine is black. I think all 4Runners have black steering wheels regardless if it's the gray or beige interior.

I have the stone interior on mine, and the wheel is black.

There's a thread here where a member just trimmed the airbag cover to accommodate the steering control without buying a new airbag cover. You'll also need to purchase the blanks or the voice command and Bluetooth controls for the right side of the steering wheel if you get a new airbag cover that has the cutout for the audio controls.

I would like to have the voice command too but right now I'm thinking it will not work with my new Alpine INA-W910 that I'm getting ready to install. But I'm still reseaching it.

Just found the PAC part that works with the new alphine stereo. It is the PAC SWI-RC . Now I should be able to use both left and right steering wheel buttons.
