Air Compressor VS Standalone tank?

So I am going to the beach this weekend, which means I will need to air down. My old reliable portable air compressor finally gave up last year. I am trying to decide if it is worth spending 60 or so bucks on another decent portable compressor or just get an 11 gallon air tank. I can get all the air I need from my shop, I'm just wondering if 11 gallons is going to be enough to air my tires back up to 32 psi from 20 psi. I've got 265/70/16 tires right now so I'm just not sure. I have read a ton of reviews on all the ones I can get locally and people say either they are great or they broke the first time they used them.

I was just looking at CO2 setups today. I found this page which had some good info:

I'm sure the your size of tank will definitely fill up your 32's from 20psi to 32psi with ease. In the above article, the author states the 10lb CO2 tank is good for about 40 fill-ups for a 35" tire from 5 psi to 30 psi at about 2 minutes a tire.

No, a 11 gallon tank that is pressurized to 120-130 psi will not re-inflate 4 tires.

Sounds good to me. I also found out there is a service station about 1 mile from the beach entrance, so that is another option. We are planning to go Sunday, leaving Hampton Roads about 9 am. PM me if you are up for it. I may be taking a rental truck down there because I am renting one to deliver a motorcycle up to Richmond tomorrow, but I'll be at the beach either way.

Yea I used to use that station but it sucks having to bring all those quarters haha
