fuse block 3 a/c

as per chilton manual a/c fuse is in relay box#3 located behind glove box = remove glove box ,block has 2 fuses 1 for a/c other is for rear heater. fyi there is 4 "blocks"with fuses on 1989-1991 t4r
2 on pass fender in engine compartment,1 near drivers left foot...
(the little door on kick panel, that panel when removed hides 4 fuses defo--ecu/ign--anti lock --and a spare) other is the one you need behind glove box .... hope that helps :)

to diagnose electrical problems check fuse(u did) check all connectors (are plugged in)check for power to switch (must open dash) check for power to compressor, inspect wires for breaks.it is best if you buy a chilton or haynes manual, i bought both to compare procedures.they contain wiring diagrams with color codes to wires.

Another thing that you might look into is to see if you have any freon charge in it. i know on some vechiles if the pressure is low the compressor will not kick on just a thought to help

Thanks Guys for your help
Here is where I am at, fuse ok, power is at the switch and the switch works ok, no power gets to the compressor but when i run power straight to it it runs, the thermo fan on the front of the car doesn't run unless I run power to it as well, does anyone know the fuse location for it, so far I have the panel in the drivers footwell (all ok) the small panel behind the glovebox (Thanks Rob) and the panel under the bonnet, all ok, any further help much appreciated as I am running ot of ideas

relays for a/c in block 4 under hood marked cds fan.use a small piece of wire larger gauge better take out relay and jump it out if a/c goes on relay not working if not maybe a wire is shorted out.
